Mercantile Agency Credit Control and Reporting (MACCR)
Development and support of several Microsoft Access database systems to track outstanding accounts and refer them to mercantile collection agencies. The system also monitored payments and commissions on the accounts. These were very large databases (1 million plus records) and they interfaced with three of Telstra’s main billing systems via file exports.

This project involved the remediation of many of Colonial’s Microsoft Access databases during the Y2K era. Was Y2K a fizz? Or did we all do our job right? I guess we’ll never know (until Y3k maybe).
